teenage bedroom ideas boys
Any ideas on how to decorate a room with my child in a cowboy theme?

My son is 10, but he likes things cowboy. It has a cowboy hat, clothing, and a rope. Any ideas on how to articulate them in a cowboy theme in your bedroom. I do not want anything too baby-ish. Something that can grow in adolescence. Also, what paint colors that look good with this issue?

Think denim and bandanas. Bedding with the same type of fabric would be nothing well, and the age would be. A denim comforter with pillows color red scarf, for example. A throw with large spots (which look like a horse of painting) would be a nice touch. If you are in textured paint, is a great technique that produces a finished garment (with a wallpaper brush.) If you do a wall in a lighter blue then darker blue of it, expose the brush strokes of lighter color below and it will look like denim. For a very cheap way to show hat and rope, hang for a couple of decorative hooks (the kind that screw into the wall). Look for something that is resisted metal or wrought iron. You can find them at hardware local for a couple of dollars. Watch old cowboy boots and hats in resale shops or rummage sales – with a lamp kit, low cost, you could make a lamp with boots for the base and hat like a shadow. Every cowboy needs a horse, or at least a horseshoe. It should be hung above the door as a U (not vice versa). Superstition is so lucky not exhausted.
