Great Teen Bedroom Makeover! : D: D pink and lime colors?
I’m redoing my bedroom and have already chosen the colors. Im going for pink walls and some bright lime green and so on. I want to make it a suitable teen bedroom, very young, modern and elegant: Pleeasse help with any idea on decoration, accessories and anything to help me create a room in style! : D thanxx: D
Hey! I just got my room painted, and those are the same colors I used. This is how I did it in my room: 1) 1 / 3 the path of the wall I painted it Rose. 2) On top of the rose I painted white, but a very thin band, about the size of a chair molding. In case you do not know, a molding is what used to be the formal dining rooms, it runs through the room 1 / 3 of the height of the wall, and is only inches wide. 3) On top of the white layer, I painted the wall lime green until the top. 4) There are two things I haven’t done yet but am planning to: painting little blue dots on the white coat, and having my name painted on the wall, probably on the wall where my bed is. Other things you can do is get stickers, cool lamps and just customize it a lot. GOOD LUCK!
Hi there. You might want to follow some tips that I read around somewhere, for a successful teenage bedroom makeover. I think these are great ideas. Just check them over and see what you think. There are a few. 1) You might want to get like some really cool bedding, or a duvet or bed throw or something like that. Something colourful with matching pillows. 2) You don’t want too many pillows though. Don’t you hate those hotel room beds, where you have to get rid of millions of pillows before you can even get into bed? 3) A nice touch is to get curtains and matching valance. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, but definitely something nice. 4) If you can get a rug or carpet, something big enough to fit under the bed so you don’t trip and kill yourself, that really creates a more pulled together look. Sort of cozy. 5) Clearing the clutter is also important, so you don’t have a thousand things just littering the view. If you have to hide your stuff, at least do it in some cute container. 6) Something that really works is moving your furniture around a little and while you’re at it, flip your mattress. Don’t be lazy! 7) Getting a headboard really enhances the look of any room. You can get some at really affordable prices in your local stores or you can check online for the kind that you can just paint.
Replacing handles and pulls is a great trick to make an old piece of furniture look fresher and more updated. There are thousands of models and types. It’ll all depend on what you like or dislike, the theme of your bedroom, matching colors, etc. I hope this has been helpful.
